Bay leaf
Bay leaf can be used in various dishes due to its versatile flavour. It gives warmth and strength to dishes due to its slightly bitter flavour. The aromas are released by cooking them for a long time in soups, stews, sauces, fish and meat dishes. The leaf should not be eaten and should be removed before serving.
Laurel (Laurus nobilis) is a plant from the laurel family (Lauraceae Laurel) and native to the eastern Mediterranean region, such as Greece and Turkey.
Laurel is attributed with various health-promoting properties:

- Regulates blood sugar levels
- Lowers cholesterol
- Protects against cardiovascular diseases
- Helps with diarrhea
- Diuretic
Store in a cool, dry place, shelf life is maximum 24 months.
