Tagine fish with vegetables
In this video, we show you how to quickly and easily prepare a delicious fish and vegetable tagine. We use the delicious Moroccan Spicy Secrets Fish Mix for the perfect base flavor.
Start the marinade by mixing the fish mix with the olive oil.
Rub the fish well and let it soak in. Add the water to the remaining marinade and set aside for later.
While the fish is marinating, slice the potatoes and vegetables. Feel free to vary the ingredients (sweet potato, carrot, etc.).
Add a dash of olive oil to the tagine and turn on the heat. Arrange a layer of tomatoes on the bottom, followed by the vegetables.
Add the remaining marinade with water and finish with the tomato puree for extra flavor.
Place the marinated fish on top of the vegetables and garnish with some lemon and pepper to taste.
Place the tagine over low heat and let everything simmer slowly (approximately 50 minutes). The fish will cook beautifully and the flavors will be well-developed.
When everything is cooked through, remove the lid from the tagine and let the sauce reduce.
*Serve with fresh Moroccan bread.

***For some extra spice: cook a red pepper with the vegetables.
