Northern Harira
Harira, our all-time favorite soup. In Morocco, harira is considered a culinary heritage: during Ramadan, the soup is served daily to break the fast, but this richly filled soup also provides a boost in winter.
Harira Chamalia is the milder version of our harira spices. Unlike the harira mix, this blend does not contain ras el hanout, and therefore no warm spices such as cloves, galangal, cinnamon, cardamom, mace, or star anise. Turmeric, ginger, coriander, and saffron give the soup its gentle, traditional flavor. The mix is freshly ground in our workshop and contains no flavor enhancers or additives, only pure spices.
Do you enjoy warm spices? Then choose our harira mix.
Preparation method:
For 6 liters of soup, use 48g of Harira Chamalia.
You can find the full recipe on our blog: Moroccan harira.
