Coriander grains
Coriander grains have a spicy anise flavour with a sweet undertone. They are used in both sweet and spicy dishes. Think of tabouleh, tajines, curry dishes and cakes. The aroma can be enhanced by briefly roasting the grains before use.
Coriander (Coriandrum sativum) is a plant in the Apiaceae family that originates from the Middle East and the Mediterranean. Coriander seeds are the dried fruits of the plant.
