Yerba Mate Green Tea
This Yerba Mate is a real pick-me-up that is a healthy replacement for coffee. This herbal tea has a slightly grassy character and can be enjoyed both hot and cold.
Preparation of 1 teacup
- 1 teaspoon dried Yerba Mate Green Tea
- Pour over 300 ml of water (80 °)
- Let it steep for 10 minutes
If you find the taste too bitter, it is nice to add lemon or milk.
Traditional preparation
- Fill the gourd 3/4 full with Yerba Mate Green Tea
- Shake the gourd (with your hand on the opening of the gourd)
- Fill the gourd 1/4 with cold water
- Let it steep for 2 minutes
- Stir the Yerba Mate with the Bombilla
- Fill the gourd 3/4 with warm water (80 ° C)
- Enjoy the Yerba Mate by drinking it through the Bombilla
