Juicy meatballs, seasoned with spices, slowly simmer in a rich tomato sauce full of warmth and depth. The potatoes absorb all the flavors and make the dish wonderfully filling. Simple, pure, and packed with comfort – just the way we like it! Ideal for weeknights, but also perfect for sharing with family or friends.

Ingredients:

  • 500 g minced meat
  • Olive oil
  • 25 g 'Keftamix'
  • 10 g 'Tajine mix'
  • 400 g tomatoes
  • 60 g tomato passata
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 30 g coriander
  • 700 g waxy potatoes
  • 300 ml boiling water

Recipe for 2 people

  • Take a cooking pot and pour a dash of olive oil into it
  • Add the diced tomatoes, pressed garlic and chopped coriander
  • Season with the 'Tajine mix'
  • Simmer for 5 minutes with the lid on
  • Mash the tomatoes in the pot with a potato masher
  • Add the diced potatoes and stir
  • Add boiling water
  • Let it cook for 15 minutes with the lid on
  • In the meantime, marinate the minced meat with the 'Kefta mix' and a dash of olive oil and make balls.
  • Place the meatballs in the pot and let them cook for 15 minutes
  • Finish with chopped coriander

*Serve with fresh Moroccan bread
