Savory
Savory has a pungent, slightly bitter taste and has traditionally been used to add flavour to beans, pulses and vegetables. The herb works equally well in stews, soups, sauces and salads, and also makes bean dishes easier to digest.
Directions for use:
Add savory at the start of cooking so that the flavour can fully infuse. One teaspoon per 500g of beans or vegetables is sufficient.
