Shallot
Dried shallots provide the delicate, sweet onion flavour of fresh shallots without the need for chopping. Use them in soups, sauces, vinaigrettes, marinades, and herb butter, or rehydrate them briefly and use them in salads.
We use shallots ourselves in the seasoning for roast chicken.
