Tagine fish with vegetables
In this video, we show you how to quickly and easily prepare a delicious fish and vegetable tagine. We use the delicious Moroccan Spicy Secrets Fish Mix for the perfect base flavor.
- Start the marinade by mixing the fish mix with the olive oil.
- Rub the fish well and let it soak in. Add the water to the remaining marinade and set aside for later.
- While the fish is marinating, slice the potatoes and vegetables. Feel free to vary the ingredients (sweet potato, carrot, etc.).
- Add a dash of olive oil to the tagine and turn on the heat. Arrange a layer of tomatoes on the bottom, followed by the vegetables.
- Add the remaining marinade with water and finish with the tomato puree for extra flavor.
- Place the marinated fish on top of the vegetables and garnish with some lemon and pepper to taste.
- Place the tagine over low heat and let everything simmer slowly (approximately 50 minutes). The fish will cook beautifully and the flavors will be well-developed.
- When everything is cooked through, remove the lid from the tagine and let the sauce reduce.
*Serve with fresh Moroccan bread.
