Ingredients :

  • 500 g minced lamb or beef
  • 6 large tomatoes
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 ml tomato passata
  • 35 g coriander
  • Green or red pepper
  • Moroccan Spicy Secrets Olive Oil
  • 25 g Keftamix from Moroccan Spicy Secrets
  • 25 g Tagine mix from Moroccan Spicy Secrets

Recipe for 4 people:

  • Marinate the minced meat with the Keftamix and a dash of olive oil.
  • Peel the tomatoes and cut them into small pieces.
  • Take a tagine or a large cooking pot.
  • Add three tablespoons of Moroccan Spicy Secrets olive oil.
  • Place the tagine on a low heat.

  • Press the garlic into the tagine and fry briefly.
  • Add the diced tomatoes and tomato passata.
  • Season the mixture with 25 g of Tajine mix.
  • Chop the coriander on top.
  • Let it simmer for 15 minutes with the lid on over a low heat. Stir regularly.
    • Meanwhile, roll the minced meat into medium-sized balls.
    • Place the meatballs and pepper in the tomato sauce.
    • Close the lid and let it simmer for 5 minutes on a low heat.
    • Crack the eggs over the mixture and let it cook for a few more minutes.
